Whats Fresnel ALR Screen?
  • A Fresnel ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen is a high-performance projection screen designed to deliver bright, high-contrast images even in well-lit environments. It uses a specialized optical structure based on the Fresnel lens principle, combined with micro-louver or angular reflective technology, to selectively reflect light from the projector while rejecting ambient light coming from above, below, or the sides.
  • We can provide Fresnel ALR fixed frame screen in size 80",84",92",100",110" and 120"
  • Yes, you can customize the size of the screen, up to a maximum of 120 inches.
  • This Fresnel ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen is designed for standard-throw projectors and is compatible with both single-laser and triple-laser projector models. If you need UST projector screen, please click this link:UST projector screen

  • A clean, smooth, matte-finish, truly white wall in a light-controlled room can work reasonably well for casual use. However, for consistent brightness, accurate colors, better contrast, and a professional viewing experience, a dedicated projection screen is strongly recommended.Using a dedicated projection screen offers several important advantages:
  1. Consistent Reflectivity: Projection screens are engineered with uniform surface materials that reflect light evenly, ensuring consistent brightness and color across the entire image. Walls often have texture, paint sheen variations, or subtle discolorations that can distort the picture.

  2. Optimized Gain and Viewing Angle: Screens are designed with specific gain levels and diffusion characteristics to balance brightness and viewing angles. A white wall typically has low and unpredictable gain, which may result in a dimmer or uneven image.

  3. Color Accuracy: High-quality screen materials maintain better color fidelity. Many white paints contain additives or tints (e.g., "off-white" or blue undertones) that can skew colors in your projected image.

  4. Reduced Hotspots and Glare: Projection screens minimize hotspots and ambient light reflections better than most walls, especially glossy or semi-gloss paints.

  5. Professional Appearance: A proper screen provides a clean, framed image with defined borders, enhancing the viewing experience and aesthetic.

  • Absolutely! You can easily install it yourself by following the user manual or watching the installation guide video. Typically, two people can complete the setup in about 1 to 2 hours.
